Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Hapi mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of the Service

Hapi is a mobile application that allows users to configure and monitor simple HTTP-based health checks for API endpoints they control.

The App operates without user accounts and stores all configuration data locally on the user's device.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

Purchases

Hapi offers a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks additional features such as increased endpoint limits and extended history.

  • Payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play billing
  • No subscriptions are offered
  • Purchases can be restored using your App Store or Google Play account

Pricing and availability may change in future versions of the App.

No Guarantees

Hapi is provided on a best-effort basis.

  • The App does not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or delivery of results
  • Endpoint availability and responses depend entirely on third-party systems outside our control
  • The App should not be relied upon for mission-critical, emergency, or safety-related monitoring

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have permission to access and monitor any endpoint you configure
  • Any network traffic generated by the App
  • Complying with applicable laws and terms related to the endpoints you monitor

Data Storage

All endpoint configuration and monitoring history are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently remove this data.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by API Alerts. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable app store terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or modify the App at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Hapi is provided "as is" and "as available"
  • API Alerts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
